Clubiona leucaspis  Simon, 1932    -    Sp. not det.
Taxonomical Classification:  Animalia / Arthropoda / Arachnida / Araneae / Clubionidae
Leaf-curling Sac Spider     Maltese name not known
Further Information:
A species of the Infraorder Araneomorphae and Family Clubionidae. Species of the genus Clubiona are known as leaf-rolling spiders due to the fact that they roll up leaves with their silk to lay eggs inside. Otherwise, this spider can be found in leaf litter and under rocks. The photographed specimen was found floating in a rock pool, probably fallen accidentally as it is not a water-related spider.
